DeepSleeping (deepsleeping.me, the “Service”) is operated by ArtCo Inc., Osaka, Japan (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and this Privacy Policy. These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Osaka District Court.

- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. You use it at your own risk. We make no guarantees about accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- The Service provides general information about sleep cycles only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a doctor. If you have ongoing sleep problems, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
- You may use the Service for personal and commercial purposes free of charge.
- You may not copy, frame or embed the Service in other websites or apps, or scrape it automatically, without our written permission.
- You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or attempt to disrupt or overload it.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service.
- We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
- We may update these Terms and this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
Privacy
- No account, no personal data. The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The times you enter are not sent to our servers.
- Settings stored on your device. Your theme and last wake-up/bedtime are saved in your browser’s local storage so the page remembers them. This data stays on your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our web server automatically records standard request data (IP address, browser type, page requested, referrer and time). We use it only to keep the Service secure and running and to understand overall usage, and we delete it after a limited period.
- Cookies, analytics and advertising. We may use third-party services such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense to measure traffic and show ads. These providers, including Google, may set cookies and collect data to personalize and measure ads. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can turn off ad personalization in Google Ad Settings or block cookies in your browser. By continuing to use the Service, you consent to this use of cookies.
- Sharing. We do not sell your personal information. We disclose data only to the service providers above or when required by law.
- Children. The Service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
- Your rights. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Contact us to make a request.
